Pizza Pockets
Makes 4 serving(s)
WHAT'S IN IT?
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated, reduced-fat crescent roll dough
1 3/4 cups (6 ounces) shredded, reduced-fat mozzarella cheese
24 slices turkey pepperoni
3/4 cup (or more!) of your favorite jarred pasta or pizza sauce
STUFF YOU NEED
Large nonstick baking sheet
Dry measuring cup
Potholders
Liquid measuring cup
HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER
- Ask an adult for permission to use the oven. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Separate the 8 crescent roll dough triangles. Take 2 triangles and pinch them together to form a rectangle. You should end up with 4 rectangles.
- Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray and place the 4 dough rectangles onto the baking sheet. Onto each rectangle, toss 6 pepperonis and scatter even amounts of mozzarella cheese. Roll tightly lengthwise and pinch the ends closed.
- Bake for 12 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Serve with sauce for dipping.
